When beloved Italian restaurant Rosso Pomodoro reached their 20th anniversary, they wanted to do more than just light some candles on a cake. They came to Stanley House Studios with a vision: celebrate two decades of authentic Italian cuisine in a way that introduced their brand to a new generation of Sydney food lovers. What followed was a comprehensive campaign that built excitement around the milestone, driving new customers through the doors while increasing awareness through media coverage, influencer collaborations, and digital advertising.
How We Did It
To mark Rosso Pomodoro’s 20th anniversary, SHS delivered a campaign that amplified the celebration across Sydney and positioned the brand as both a beloved institution and a contemporary dining destination. SHS secured 12 media clippings in top food and lifestyle outlets, including Urban List, Eat Drink Play, Delicious, Sitchu, and a live segment on Today Extra.
The "20 Pizzas for 20 Years" campaign spotlighted Rosso Pomodoro’s authentic Italian recipes, family heritage, and contribution to Sydney’s dining culture. In addition to press coverage, we partnered with eight Sydney-based food influencers who created authentic content and further drove brand awareness. A one-day DoorDash giveaway of 200 free pizzas booked out within hours, supported by targeted social media campaigns generating over 101,000 impressions and reaching new audiences across Sydney’s food community.
Our Impact
The campaign successfully broadened Rosso Pomodoro’s reach beyond their loyal customer base. The 200-pizza DoorDash giveaway created excitement and urgency, while media coverage extended beyond food publications to lifestyle and entertainment outlets such as Today Extra. Social media engagement was strengthened through influencer storytelling that highlighted the brand’s Italian authenticity and family-focused dining culture. The campaign helped position Rosso Pomodoro as both a nostalgic favourite and a relevant dining option for new customers, ensuring brand visibility well beyond the anniversary moment.
