Stanley House Studios launched a strategic PR campaign for the opening of Kin Dining and Bar, a hidden adults-only Nikkei venue in the heart of Sydney’s Inner West. Our objective was to formulate a unique and strong media hook to stand out from the ever-growing hospitality landscape in Sydney. We focused on the ‘adults-only’ angle for this story, as it’s a unique selling point for Kin which many people have a strong opinion about, and resulted in much debate online.
How We Did It
Utilising our close connections with prominent media publications, we were able to create buzz and excitement around the opening on a national and global scale. The SHS team garnered media attention across 35+ online media publications, television and radio channels such as Daily Mail, Sunrise and ABC Radio with a total reach of over 741 million people throughout the campaign.
Our Impact
By building Kin Dining and Bar’s media presence, we were able to gain exposure of the new venue, with a 20% growth in foot flow in just two months of launching our PR campaign.
