When Fireball wanted to show up around Mr. 305’s Australian tour, we knew it had to be big. So we turned a Sydney hotel into a ‘Motel Fireball Inn’ for one wild month.
From custom Fireball bedding and personalised slippers to branded suits that took over the streets, every detail was designed to spark conversation. And it worked.
With the creation of Room 305 and two major events in Sydney and Melbourne featuring flash mobs, the Bubbler and Fireball minis ready to shot, the campaign extended far beyond the hotel itself.
The PR rollout saw Motel Fireball Inn land across Rolling Stone, Concrete Playground, LADbible, BuzzFeed, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Betoota Advocate and the Today Show, alongside a wave of digital and social coverage. Add in a flash mob that stopped Pitt Street and you had a cultural moment that carried far beyond the room itself.
The result was over 138 million people reached, 1,500+ social mentions and a campaign that firmly positioned Fireball as the shot of choice during Fridayz Live.
Unapologetic, loud and impossible to miss, Motel Fireball Inn became Fireball’s most successful campaign yet.
